Atwater Crossing offers space to produce, rehearse, perform and exhibit all types of creative production. Beautiful open areas, a welcoming restaurant, and programmable spaces for varying sizes and budgets contribute to the sense of community and experimentation. We are proud to provide a supportive environment for large and small projects, from independent films to community meetings, as well as opportunities for those looking to develop their own artistic talents.
The Idea
The Atwater Crossing Homes bring the highest quality new construction and green building techniques to the Atwater Village neighborhood. The homes complement the creative energy and community spirit of Atwater Crossing, where the Wood Fire Kitchen, theaters and performance space are contributing to a vibrant haven for Los Angeles’s dynamic contemporary culture.
By day, the Atwater Crossing buildings are "busy beehives" hosting an array of creative offices, including design companies, animators, production houses, artisanal production facilities, and artist studios. By night and on weekends, the complex comes to life with original theater productions and an eclectic mix of readings, meetings, and music performances. The idea is simple: make a place where creative people can be enriched by working, living, and eating together.
